Mission Statement

The Inspection & Building Permits division administers and enforces
regulatory codes and ordinances to protect the public health and safety.
The division enforces building, plumbing and gas, electrical, mechanical
and property maintenance codes throughout the city. It issues construction-related permits and provides plan review services.

Zoning Division
Mission Statement

The Zoning division administers and enforces the city’s zoning ordinance
to protect local citizens and to ensure that community development occurs
in a manner and that conforms to the City’s zoning ordinance. The Zoning
Division also serves as staff to the Planning Commission, distributing and accepting applications for Planning Commission and Board of Zoning
Adjustment approvals as required by City Code.

“Pine Bluff participates in the statewide storm water permit issued by ADEQ for the operation of small municipal separate storm sewer systems(MS4s). As part of that permit process, Pine Bluff submits a storm water management plan (SWMP) to the state for review. Here for review and comment by the public are draft versions of the city’s SWMP and SWMP Control Measure Activities schedule.
