Pine Bluff Animal Control

Basic Animal Control Laws:

Every dog or cat three (3) months or older must be vaccinated for Rabies and be licensed by the City of Pine Bluff (the animal must wear the license on collar at all times).

All dogs must be confined on the owners property by a fence, pen, or enclosure. Any loose dogs in your neighborhood should be reported to Animal Control.

Residents may not exceed four (4) animals per household.

Penned animals must be kept clean and sanitary and should not give off offensive odors. CRUELTY TO ANIMALS IS AGAINST THE LAW. This includes physical abuse and abuse by neglect, which is failure to provide adequate shelter, food, water, and medical care.

Animal bites or scratches that break the skin must be reported to Animal Control immediately. The animal will be quarantined for a period of 10 days regardless of vaccination status. The owner is responsible for all cost.

The keeping of exotic animals is prohibited.

The keeping of Pit Bull breed dogs is restricted.

Contact Animal Control for complete listing of applicable laws or additional information.
