Pine Bluff Animal Services

Overview:

The Department of Animal Control is responsible for the protection of our citizen and the welfare of animals in the community. Animal Control Officers are agents of the city designated by the Mayor to administer and enforce the licensing, inspection, and enforcement requirements of all laws govering animals. Officers responds to complaints regarding animal abuse, stray animals, animal bites, and attacks. The agency is responsible for the sheltering of unwanted, abandon, and stray animals in the city. Animals are housed at the animal control facility, where they are cared for and held for pick up by their owner. Animals that are returned to their owners are evaluated for placement in the adoption program. These animals are placed in loving homes with responsible owners.
