Updates from the Pine Bluff Mayor’s Office

Greetings from the Pine Bluff Mayor’s Office,

Hurricane Harvey has caused widespread devastation to the State of Texas. Many of our concerned citizens are eager to support the relief efforts. The City of Pine Bluff is on alert and has been placed on standby. At this time we are awaiting further instructions from Emergency Management Personnel. We are poised to assist in the relief efforts wherever our help is required. We will share plans as soon as they are complete.

In the meantime, there are citizens in Pine Bluff who have taken action. Kamyra Seals and her sister Kenetta Ridgell are planning a trip to Texas to provide support to our neighbors in need. We encourage you to consider assisting this effort.

Volunteers will load a UHaul Truck on Friday, Sept 1, between 3:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the UHaul location at 4030 West 25th Ave (the old Wal-Mart).

Items needed are WATER. TOILETRIES. TISSUE. DIAPERS & WIPES. Clean Clothes. Toys….

Pine Bluff residents and sisters, Kymara Seals & Kenetta Ridgell will leave for Texas Sat morning to deliver the items to the victims of the recent hurricane and flooding.

Thank you for your generous. support!

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”

In Unity,
