Welcome to the City of Pine Bluff!

I am proud to serve as Mayor of this great city. Pine Bluff is a community with a proud past and a bright future. As a cultural and economic hub for Southeast Arkansas, our community is united in creating a welcoming city for residents and visitors.

Pine Bluff continues to nurture a growing business community while preserving the small town qualities that make Southern living so rewarding.

Pine Bluff’s past is depicted in a variety of museums and historic homes, as well as the exceptional collection of murals located throughout downtown Pine Bluff.

Students from around the world are preparing for the future at state of the art STEM facilities at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Southeast Arkansas College.

Our city is embarking on an ambitious downtown revitalization effort that will bring a new aquatic center and public library. These facilities will compliment contemporary theater productions, visual arts and science exhibits at the Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas.

Pine Bluff will soon be home to a new recreation trail that circles beautiful Lake Saracen, linking neighborhoods with the Farmers Market at Saracen Landing and the always fascinating Delta Rivers Nature Center

The Pine Bluff Convention Center brings numerous musical, cultural, and civic events to our city. Our community is home to a selection of fine restaurants and shopping opportunities, an 18-hole public golf course and outdoor activities such as boating, fishing and camping. Pine Bluff is a community that truly offers something for everyone.

In the years to come, we are committed to investing in our young people by improving our schools and community centers. Our city is expanding its community associations, revitalizing our neighborhoods, and supporting economic development.

I look forward to working with you to build a Pine Bluff we are all proud to call home.

Sincerely,

Mayor Shirley M. Washington

One Pine Bluff Stronger Together
