ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Transit Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the City’s Fixed Route and Paratransit system. The Operations Manager is responsible for driver scheduling, route and driver evaluation, route design, route revenue collection and other duties as required or assigned to ensure effective and efficient transit operations.

ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university and two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the transit field. Management supervisory preferred. Must possess a valid Arkansas Driver’s License.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING: Applicants should be able to obtain a CDL and
Drug/Alcohol Supervisory Certificate within 6 months from the date of hire.
